The Collection

Peter Nygaard / Grand Prix Photo

Grand Prix Photo was founded by Danish photographer Peter Nygaard in 1982. Over 33 seasons and 500 Grands Prix, he has built one of the most remarkable archives in the sport — further enriched by acquiring the collections of fellow F1 photographers Nigel Snowdon and Giancarlo Cevenini. The result is a unique body of work spanning every era of Formula 1, from the circuits of the 1960s to the modern grid.
